Nokia 2 Will Come with Android Nougat, Snapdragon 210, 1 GB RAM – HMD Global introduced Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and Nokia 3310 reboot at MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2017 in Barcelona. They have also sent a media invite for 16th August in London where the company plans to unveil the Flagship Smartphone Nokia 8, which is now Official.

There are also strong rumours that the company is going to launch the most basic phone of the series Nokia 2 soon.

In India, Nokia 3310 and Nokia 3 are made available in the retail stores priced at Rs 3310 and Rs 9,499 respectively. Whereas, registrations for Nokia 6 flash sale started from July 14th.

Nokia 6 comes with a price tag of Rs 14,999 and was on sale on August 23rd.Its Now on Sale (August 30th) from 12PM onwards. HMD Global is said to launch at least 6 to 7 Nokia Android smartphones this year.

The Nokia 2 is believed to come with a price tag of $100 to $120, approx. Rs. 6500 as far as the Indian pricing goes and will fit in between the Nokia 3310 and the Nokia 3 in their portfolio.

The entry level smartphone is said to be armed with Quad Core 64 Bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 MSM8909 Processor clocked at 1.1 GHz along with the Adreno 304 GPU.  The smartphone was also spotted recently on the Geekbench as shared by Nokia Power User.

The smartphone is said to come with the latest Android Nougat OS, as all Nokia phones launched. It will also offer a new stock Android user experience. There is mere 1 GB of Ram which seems to be low.

Additionally, the Nokia 2 looks very similar to ‘Nokia Lumia 620’ in terms of design. As far as the display is concerned, Nokia 2 will sport a 5-inch display. Similar to Nokia 3, Nokia 2 won’t have Finger print scanner as it will be a low budget smartphone.

Furthermore, Nokia 2 would be the first Nokia Android mobile to feature on-screen buttons i.e. Virtual buttons. That’s all we know about the Nokia 2 smartphone so far, will keep you posted about future updates.
