In April 2015, Nokia Announced Their Intention To Acquire Alcatel-Lucent Which Also Includes The Bell Labs Founded By Alexander Graham Bell In 1880. The Acquisition Completed In November 2016.
After The Acquisition Nokia Merged Alcatel-Lucent Into Nokia Networks Division And Divided Nokia Networks Into 5 Different Businesses. Bell Labs Was Renamed To Nokia Bell Labs.
So Now Nokia Consist Of 7 Businesses: Nokia Technologies, Nokia Bell Labs, Fixed Networks, Applications & Analytics, Mobile Networks, Global Services And IP/Optical Networks.

As Part Of This Deal, Nokia Also Acquired The Alcatel Brand Which Was Owned By Alcatel-Lucent And Licensed To TCL Communication.
Alcatel Originally Started Making Mobile Phones In 1998. Alcatel Mobile Phones Was Established In April 2004 As A Joint Venture Between Alcatel-Lucent (45%) And TCL Communication. (55%). In 2005, The Joint Venture Was Dissolved And TCL Communication Acquired Alcatel-Lucent's 45% Share, And Alcatel Mobile Phones Became A Wholly Owned Subsidiary Group Of TCL. The Alcatel Brand Name Was Licensed To TCL Communication.
TCL Communication Also Design, Develop, Manufacture And Sell Phones With TCL, Alcatel And BlackBerry Brands.
